Rules for thee but not for me...House Majority Leader (D) Nancy Pelosi was spotted on video at her local salon on Monday afternoon, Fox News is reporting after getting ahold of videotape of her inside the establishment. The problem is, salons are not allowed to be open due to current COVID rules in California. Salons in San Francisco had been closed since March and were only notified they could reopen on Sept. 1 for outdoor hairstyling services only. Pelosi is seen on video walking through eSalon in San Francisco with wet hair, and without a mask over her mouth or nose. The owner of salon sent in the tape because of how excessive COVID rules have hurt the beauty industry all over the country. "I am sharing this because of what everyone in my industry and my city ... is going through right now." Salon owner Erica Kious Kious also went on to...

What we know: The show drew 6.4 million viewers across all ViacomCBS platforms during the simulcast, a 5% drop from 2019. That number includes the pre-show, main event, post-show and encores; no figures were available for only the two-hour primetime broadcast. Last years show: Including the two-hour primetime show itself, hosted by comedian Sebastian Maniscalco — drew an audience of 6.8 million for all programming. The 2019 primetime event itself attracted 4.9 million total viewers. The live event lacked energy critics say and lip-syncing 'galore', since the performers were wearing masks. The performers however were not under Gov. Andrew Cuomo's strict quarantine rules as the rest of us 'normal' people have to abide by when traveling into NYC state. We guess it pays to be talented & famous...

History: Wolf has served as the acting head of DHS since November of last year. The department has been without a Senate-confirmed secretary since Kirstjen Nielsen resigned in April of 2019. The nomination won't be 'cut and dry': Two weeks ago, a government watchdog agency found that Wolf and his acting deputy, Ken Cuccinelli, were named to their current roles illegally, in violation of the Vacancies Reform Act, in part because they had not faced Senate confirmation. Wolf has been an advocate of President Trump’s immigration agenda from the long-promised southern border wall to more recent restrictions on illegal border crossers. https://twitter.com/realDonaldTrump/status/1298296592764735490

A 25-year-old black man accused of shooting his white 5-year-old neighbor in the head at point-blank range in Wilson, North Carolina on Sunday night has been charged with first-degree murder in the boy’s death. Darius Nathaniel Sessoms, 25, was arrested Monday after fleeing the scene and is in the custody of Wilson Police and members of the U.S. Marshals Service Carolinas Regional Task Force. Sessoms was found in a home in Goldsboro. Doris Lybrand, who witnessed the shooting, told WRAL that Sessoms ran up to the boy, put the gun near his head and fired before running back to his own house. “My first reaction was he’s playing with the kids,” Lybrand said. “For a second, I thought, ‘That couldn’t happen.’ People don’t run across the street and kill kids.” Now, the editorial team here thought we would see what CNN, MSNBC, and others had to say about this vicious murder. Of course,...

**Story developing With Republicans and Democrats both failing at coming to an agreement on a stimulus deal that will help Americans hardest hit from the China Virus, President Trump is taking things into his own hands. Both parties have been blaming one another for weeks now as Americans suffer. Democrats, wanting billions for debt Liberal cities racked up pre-Covid, and Republicans asking to fund a new FBI building and to make business lunches 100% tax-deductible. All of that got in the way of again, helping Americans in need. Federal unemployment extension, more stimulus checks, an extension of PPP, and eviction halting. What we know: President Trump has called a 3:30 p.m. ET press conference in Bedminster, NJ today where sources say he will sign executive orders to extend Federal Unemployment assistance, unilaterally suspend payroll taxes, suspend student loan repayments and rental housing evictions in the coming days. At this time...
