Adding more bad news on top of horrendous ratings for the NFL this season, 3 members of the Tennessee Titans test positive for COVID-19

What we know: The Titans stopped in-person workouts Tuesday after multiple tests inside the organization came back positive for COVID-19. The Vikings, whom the Titans defeated Sunday, also suspended activities.

According to the NFL: Three players and five other personnel all had tests come back positive. The Vikings have not reported any positive tests as of yet.

What we know: The Trump administration announced Tuesday it is canceling some of its remaining orders for ventilators, after moving quickly to sign nearly $3 billion in emergency contracts as the COVID-19 pandemic surged in the spring. In stockpile: The Department of Health and Human Services issued a statement affirming that the national stockpile has now reached its maximum capacity for the life-saving breathing machines, with nearly 120,000 available for deployment to state and local health officials if needed. HHS confirmed it was terminating contracts with ventilator manufacturers Hamilton Medical and Vyaire Medical, which will result in the reduction of 38,000 ventilators that had been scheduled for delivery to the National Strategic Stockpile by the end of 2020. Rules for thee but not for me...House Majority Leader (D) Nancy Pelosi was spotted on video at her local salon on Monday afternoon, Fox News is reporting after getting ahold of videotape of her inside the establishment. The problem is, salons are not allowed to be open due to current COVID rules in California. Salons in San Francisco had been closed since March and were only notified they could reopen on Sept. 1 for outdoor hairstyling services only.
